The ‘Topping Off’ beam of Phase 2 – one of the final beams installed and the one that the AHS Senior class signed – was lifted into place on December 29th. The white beam is topped with a ceremonial evergreen tree and flag and is visible from the Mill Brook Street entrance.
The steel framing of Phase 2 is nearly complete and concrete flooring is underway. Phase 2 construction of the humanities wing, central spine, cafeteria, library, district administration offices and preschool is anticipated to be complete September 2023.
