At its meeting October 24th, the Massachusetts School Building Authority’s (MSBA) Designer Selection Panel selected HMFH Architects as the design firm. Pending successful contract negotiations, HMFH will provide crucial and broad services for the project. Ponderings Blog Launched

The AHS Building Committee has launched a new blog called Ponderings.  The blog’s mission is to provide in-depth articles on topics of interest.  Ponderings‘ first posts, ‘The Role of the Designer‘ and ‘MSBA’s Designer Selection Process‘, discusses the importance of the Designer throughout the building project as well as an explanation of how the Designer is chosen.

Arlington leaders Town Manager Adam Chapdelaine, Superintendent Kathleen Bodie and School Committee Chair Jeff Theilman represented the AHS Building Committee at the MSBA Designer Selection meeting today.   Arrowstreet, Finegold Architects and HMFH Architects were chosen as the finalists.
