June 20, 2024

The AHS Building Committee and town officials recently celebrated a significant milestone in the construction of the new Arlington High School. On the morning of June 14, the final beam was lifted into place in a private ‘Topping Off’ ceremony.

The process to build the new high school started in 2015 and phased construction began in 2020. The final phase of building construction is currently underway with the construction of the Athletics wing, black box theater and outdoor amphitheater which is anticipated to be complete in February 2025. A six month period of site work will follow, which includes construction of two additional athletic fields, landscaping and a direct connection to the Minuteman Bikeway. The entire project is anticipated to be completed in the fall of 2025.
