5 Phases 5 Phases: Detailed Design

Phases: Detailed Design

The Arlington High School Building Committee, the Owners Project Manager, and the Designer advance the design, generate construction documentation, procure bids and award a construction contract in accordance with the agreed upon project scope, budget and schedule as documented in the Project Funding Agreement, and the requirements contained in the MSBA’s standard contracts for Owner’s Project Management and Designer Services. The MSBA continues to monitor the project to ensure it remains on track and meets the expectation of both the Arlington and the MSBA as defined in the Project Funding Agreement.

After the favorable June 11, 2019 town-wide Debt Exclusion to fund the new high school, the project enter the Detailed Design phase. This phase is expected to last approximately 1 year (summer 2019 – summer 2020).
